WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

We try to ship orders as soon as they are received. If you have a specific need by date we highly recommend you contact us before ordering to ensure parts can be delivered before your event. Orders are typically shipped next business day, if there is an exception we will contact you.

UNICORN BRAKE PADS

The number one request in the world of high performance braking is this: Hi, I need a low dust pad that I can use on the street and the track that will perform flawlessly, not make any noise on the street, and last for 17 years, what do you have?!

The answer is, nothing. There is not one brake pad that will do all of these things well.

We recommend using street pads on the street, and track pads on the track. If you are an aggressive backroads driver then we do not recommend using any low dusting street compounds.

Each vehicle is unique, and has unique needs. For instance, a 4000 lb Camaro ZL1 is going to need a different type of brake pad than a 2000 lb Miata. Give us a call to discuss the right options for your needs!

MY BRAKES MAKE NOISES ON THE STREET

We recommend using only street compounds on the street. Typically, squealing noises are caused by a build up of brake dust, or an aggressive pad material. While some manufacturers say their compound is for street use, they might produce some noise. Examples of aggressive street pads that could cause some noise are; Hawk HP Plus, Ferodo DS2500, and EBC Yellowstuff. This is normal and is not covered under warranty. If you are experiencing noises we recommend re-bedding in your brake pads.

We accept all major credit cards. We offer a 2% discount if you wish to pay by e-check, you will have to email us for this option. (sales@totalbrakes.com).

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Refunds are generally discouraged as shipping braking parts is very expensive due to weight. We guarantee fitment as long as your vehicle is selected properly. If in doubt please email or call us. Refunds are available for product defects. Buyer remorse refunds are susceptible to a 20% restocking fee along with buyer paying all shipping costs. Please call us to work with us.
